
Slow Winter Swiss
The Slow Winter SWISS (SWS) tournament for 2022/23 will commence on November 1, 2022 and will end March 30, 2023. There will be 4 or 5 rounds with approx. one round per month. Opponents organize their games with one another during each round. If there are 20 or more players the group will be split in to Major and Minor categories based on ratings.
Time controls will be G50|10. An alternative classical time control may be agreed between both players. Each player plays one game per round and the game is to be played in-person (preference) or on-line. Games are not rated.
Registration of the tournament will close on October 30, 2022. The table below will show which players have registered to date and their rating. Name will only appear once registration confirmed by Tournament Director.
