JP Chess v Medford CC (and bike ride if you want)
Cycle from JP to Medford and play some chess with Medford CC outside (includes the Medford Match), then cycle back stopping at Harvard for some more chess before returning to JP. If you don't want to bike you can always get to Medford by car or public transport.

About the Event
The plan is to cycle from JP to Medford (8.5 miles), play chess with Medford CC in Medford Square (2 hours) and then cycle back to JP stopping at Harvard on the way. Medford CC provides sets. The schedule for the cyclists is:
Noon - meet with bike at Willow Pond Road (near the car park)
Noon - 1pm - casual cycle to Medford Square
1pm - 3pm - play chess (including the JP Chess v Medford CC Match)
3pm - 3:30pm - cycle to Harvard Square
3:30-4:00 - get something to eat in Harvard and maybe play some chess in Harvard Square
4:00-4:30pm - cycle back to JP
The bike ride will be on roads and at a casual pace. Weather permitting. bring your own water and hat and sunscreen.
