On July 31, 2022 JP Chess played Medford Chess Club away in Medford. There were 12 boards, with boards 11 and 12 having MCC players represent JP Chess. Time controls were 15|10 and 2 games were played per board.

Overall, JP Chess won the match with 18.5 points verses 5.5 for Medford Chess Club. The score did not represent the closeness of the games, but was an excellent result for JP Chess' first match.
