Format:

Two groups, with four Round SWISS Pairing, 2 games per round, time control 5 mins each (no increment). Games are not rated.

Rules:

Following USCF rules for blitz which include touch move; taking king wins (no requirement to announce check); insufficient material to win when opponent's flag falls is a draw.

​

Groupings:

20 players maximum. Entrants split in to two groups A and B, with higher rated players placed in to Group A.

Schedule:

In-Person Registration Closes: 12:15pm

Entrants should confirm present by 12:30pm (spots will be re-allocated otherwise)

Round 1: 12:45 - 1:05

Round 2: 1:15 - 1:35

Round 3:  1:45 - 2:05

Round 4:  2:15 - 2:35
