Thanks to a grant from the Mayor's Office of Arts and Culture, Five Days of Chess (5DC) returns this summer 2024 with four FREE chess workshops and a FREE blitz tournament.
We'll be at the same place as last year, inside the Civic Pavilion in City Hall Plaza. This year we have some additional presenters including a GM and a WGM. NM Ryan Young also returns to present at two of the four workshops. We'll also be using the large screen this year so it should be easier to see the presentations.
We'll end the series with a tournament, the details of which are to be determined, but it will likely have a rated and an unrated section. Ocean State Chess will be assisting with the tournament. For more information and to sign up visit our web page here: https://www.jamaicaplainchess.com/5dc
