Open Streets 2025

We shall be back at Open Streets, Jamaica Plain on November 2, 2025. This is the date they close off the streets to traffic and open them up to pedestrians. We'll be outside J.P. Licks with our chess sets.

We plan on having casual chess from 10:30am until 1pm, with NM Ryan Young running a simultaneous display between 1pm and 3pm. Ryan will take on all chess players and we'll keep a record of the score over the two hours. There will be 8 boards so now is your chance to take a win against him.

There will be no tournament at this year's event but come along, play a few games and help promote JP Chess to the community.
