Club Nights

The club meets in Jamaica Plain, Boston every Thursday evening from 6:00pm until 9:00pm, sometimes finishing later. We also have on-line events. For further details, including locations and times, see our Calendar.

Tournaments

Tournaments are listed below including registration links if at the registration phase. None of our tournaments are rated, but they are fun.

 Quarterly Blitz - A one night SWISS blitz tournament. For further details and registration click here.

 Slow Chess - We have two slow tournaments, being the Slow Winter SWISS and the Slow Summer SWISS.

We play matches against other clubs. More information here.

Special Events

We participate in Jamaica Plains Open Streets events (more information here). In the summer of 2023 we are also offered four FREE workshops and a FREE chess tournament at City Hall Plaza funded by a grant from the Mayor's Office of Arts and Culture.
